Landlords Are Busy People
If you are a landlord, you know this better than anyone else. Most landlords aren’t full time. They have jobs, families, hobbies and a plethora of other high priorities in their life that all rank above their landlord duties.
Even with everything going on in their busy lives, they are still willing to answer the phone on nights and weekends to make sure their tenants are taken care of.
70-80% of all residential rental properties in Southern California are managed by the owner.
What that means is that most landlords either don't trust or don't see the need for a property manager. They are managing their rental property just fine on their own. Or so they think...
So what do good property managers do and how can they help maximize the return on rental property investments? What resources and skills do property managers possess that investors or homeowner’s can take advantage of?
This comprehensive guide designed for landlords managing residential rental property seeks to answer those questions and show how a good property manager will pay for themselves.

Discover La Verne
The History Of La Verne
La Verne started as a tract of land that was purchased by Isaac W. Lord in the mid 1880s. In 1887 he named the town “Lordsburg” after himself and began selling lots to developers for businesses and homes. In 1891, Lord founded the Lordsburg College which is still in existence today, although it has since been renamed the University of La Verne. In 1906, Lordsburg was incorporated and renamed to “La Verne.” La Verne became known as the “Heart of the Orange Empire” after World War II and was a large producer of oranges and other citrus. There are only two orange groves remaining to this day, located at La Verne Mansion and Heritage Park. The orange and citrus theme is still prevalent today as many signs and in downtown La Verne contain references to orange groves.

La Verne is perhaps best known for the University of La Verne which is a private not-for-profit university. ULV also has several satellite campuses and offers online classes. It also is provisionally accredited by the American Bar Association and allows students to take the bar exam on campus in order to become practicing attorneys anywhere in the United States.
La Verne United Methodist Church is famous for its appearance in several movies including “The Graduate” and “Bubble Boy.” The beautiful sanctuary is a great place to attend church services on Sunday mornings or get married in!
La Verne Heritage Foundation is located at Heritage Park in La Verne. This 1880s style house sits on 1.5 acres of land. There are orange groves here that are open to the public for orange picking and they also host a Christmas tree farm during Christmas time and a pumpkin patch during Halloween.
